Installing Batteries
Your TV Guide
®
Movie
Master requires two AAA
batteries, included. To install
the batteries, carefully turn
TV Guide
®
Movie Master over
so that the unit is face-down on
a soft surface. Locate the battery
compartment on the back of the
unit. Put your thumb on the
indentations near the word
“OPEN” and carefully push
down while sliding the lid in the
direction of the arrow. Lift off
the battery compartment lid and
install the batteries,
making sure to match polarity
(+ and -). Replace the battery
compartment lid in its slot and
slide the lid closed until it snaps
shut.

Movie Master may lock up due to
static discharge. If this should happen, use a
slim, pointed object to press the button marked
“
RESET” on the front of the unit.

Movie Master is a database of movie information
that allows you to search its contents quickly to find what you want.
Keep in mind that you can use any of the following criteria in your
searches to find the movies you’re looking for:
TYPE, STAR RATING, MPAA RATING, OSCARS
®
, ACTOR and DIRECTOR.
And you can combine any of these criteria to find just the ones you
want to read about. For example, you could search, all at once, on
SCI-FI, 3 STARS, R RATING, and RICHARD BURTON.
Your result would be one movie: the classic science fiction drama
“1984,” directed by Michael Radford.
